Stress-free celebrations at Grange Manor

Grange Manor created a warm welcome for Caitlin & Robbie’s home wedding.

Caitlin & Robbie reminisce:

How long were you looking for your wedding venue and what made you choose them?
It took Robbie and I a few months to choose a venue. I dreamed of a big home wedding in Scotland, while he preferred something small abroad. In the end, we compromised and did both!
After securing our official date in Italy, we began searching locally for our home wedding and found Grange Manor. It had the perfect warm, homely feel, a beautiful bridal suite and ideal spaces for our celebration. Their wedding coordinator Susan was incredibly welcoming and responsive to all our questions, which gave us complete confidence that we were in safe hands from the very beginning.

How did your venue assist in the planning for your big day and how was the overall planning experience?
We had an untraditional set up – a 5pm ceremony followed by cake cutting, first dance and disco with a buffet starting at 7pm instead of a formal sit-down meal. While this could have made planning tricky, Susan handled it with ease. She had a clear vision for how to make the day flow effortlessly and connected us with ‘Lights Candy Action’ for stunning décor, as well as a brilliant DJ for the evening. With almost everything included and well managed, there was very little we needed to worry about. The entire planning experience with Susan and the team was smooth, stress-free, and genuinely enjoyable.

On the big day, how did your wedding coordinator ensure all ran smoothly?
Susan managed every detail flawlessly, keeping the timeline on track, coordinating décor placement and handling last-minute changes without stress. She ensured everyone was where they needed to be and communicated seamlessly with the wedding party. She had a detailed itinerary which she went through with us a few times prior to the day which allowed the day to flow perfectly. Thanks to her organisation and calm presence, we could fully enjoy the day without worrying about logistics.

Who was your wedding photographer and why did you choose them?
Our photographer was Robbie’s cousin, Steven. He is an extremely talented photographer who has shot many weddings in the past. We thought it was a lovely idea to have a member of the family capturing our special day.
