With manicured lawns, and the traditional quadrangle, it offers the perfect space for outdoor receptions and photographs.
The University of St Andrews has a long history of hospitality, and we have been hosting wedding ceremonies and receptions for many years.
After enjoying your wedding breakfast in Lower College Hall, you can then enjoy dancing the night away with friends and family in Upper College Hall.
Location
St Salvator’s Quadrangle is located in the centre of town with spectacular settings right on the doorstep.
Within walking distance from the venue, St Andrews boasts an ancient cathedral, stunning, award winning white beaches and famous golf courses, all creating magical settings for photographs.
Packages
We know that planning your special day takes a wealth of planning. To help ease the load, we offer an Excellence Package with a range of products and services included in the price. We do also understand that you may want to create your own special ambience for your day, and bespoke packages and menus are available.
Accommodation
The University offers a range of accommodation during the summer months located throughout St Andrews. Your guests will receive a 10% discount on our standard rates, if they choose to stay with us.

Our Social Events Manager Amanda Morrison has over 20 years experience organising weddings. She will be your point of contact from enquiry through to your wedding day.
Thanks again for all your help and advice, you really did make it the best day for us. The pipers were so thankful of you looking after them and said they’d never piped at such a beautiful setting. Indeed the comments about the venue have been amazing. and all the staff were so accommodating. The service was first class. The food went down very well – thanks to chef for all the specific needs met. The canapés were much talked about – particularly the black pudding and sausage one! – and the evening buffet went down a storm. It really was fantastic from start to finish.
