A truly unforgettable day at Eden Leisure Village

Eden Leisure Village set the perfect backdrop for Lynn & Ross to hold their autumnal, secluded, woodland special day.

Lynn & Ross reminisce:

What first attracted you to your wedding venue and what made you decide that it would be perfect for your special day? We were instantly drawn to Eden Leisure Village because we wanted somewhere with an autumnal, wooded feel and beautiful, natural backdrops. We had stayed there overnight previously and completely fell in love with it. Although it’s only a short drive from the nearby towns, it feels secluded, as if you’re tucked away in the middle of nowhere. It struck the perfect balance between peaceful escape and convenient location, and we knew straight away it was where we wanted to get married.

Can you tell me about your theme if you had one, the inspiration behind it and how you incorporated it into your wedding? We didn’t set out with a strict theme, but we were definitely inspired by the time of year. Autumn played a big part in our choices, and we brought that feeling through with lots of sunflowers and a colour palette of burnt orange and navy. These colours worked beautifully against the natural setting, tying in subtly with the changing leaves and warm tones around the venue. It gave the day a really relaxed, seasonal atmosphere without feeling overly styled, just warm, vibrant and happy.

How did your venue go above and beyond in ensuring everything was perfect on the day? The venue team truly went above and beyond. They were so friendly from our very first meeting, and nothing was ever too much trouble. On the day itself they ran everything seamlessly, coordinating timings and keeping everything relaxed and stress-free. Their strong relationships with our caterers and other suppliers meant the whole process flowed perfectly all day.

Who was your chosen photographer and why did you choose them? We chose Bethany from The Whole Picture as our photographer after first seeing her portfolio during our initial visit. We were immediately struck by the stunning images she had already captured at the venue and knew she would do a fantastic job. She took the time to meet with us beforehand to understand our vision and even did a pre-wedding shoot, which really helped us feel more relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera.

If you could pick one word to describe your wedding, what would it be and why? Perfect. The weather was beautiful, the day couldn’t have gone any better, and having all our friends and family together made it truly unforgettable.
