A magical celebration

For Tori & Winston a more intimate gathering and stunning backdrop created an emotional and magical day.

Tori & Winston tell us their story:

Can you tell me about your theme if you had one, the inspiration behind it and how you incorporated it into your wedding? We had a sort of colour theme which was autumnal, gingers and warm oranges. We also went for a country/rustic style. We incorporated this by having warm orange/toffee roses, mixed with a sorry of floral greens within my bouquet, button hole flowers, table decorations and the flower arch.
We also had orange and green appear in many of the outfits – my wedding shoes were glittery orange, my husband wore a green waistcoat and paisley orange tie, my father wore an orange waistcoat etc.
Alongside these elements we had plain linen table cloths, multiple candles and gold charging plates that tied the whole theme and aesthetic together.
What first drew you to your wedding venue? We have always loved Scotland and the lochs have such picturesque scenery that we knew we wanted to find somewhere with them as the backdrop.
The air bnb we found was perfect in size and location alongside being in great condition with everything we needed.
What was the atmosphere like on the big day? Very emotional, magical and simply perfect. With just a few of us, everything was calm and joyous with the focus being on us celebrating the day with those closest to us rather than a spectacle for the sake of guests.
We feel so lucky to have had such a blissful day.

Who was your chosen Photographer and why did you choose them? We had both a photographer and videographer. We chose Gryffe Weddings as we wanted someone local and were impressed by the other films/ photographs they had captured which were both high quality and natural looking.
We were thoroughly delighted with their photographs and film.
What was the most memorable part of your day? With so many lovely moments from starting the day with a swim in Gare Loch to having our dog howl to the sound of the bagpipes as I entered for the ceremony, it is difficult to decide but if only selecting one I would say it was the intimate almost secret dance my husband and I shared after the wedding breakfast. Nothing will compare to being held in my new husbands arms after such an overwhelmingly magic day.
